*Erika was a fantastic addition to our wedding!  Without a doubt, I would recommend her to any bride - for a big wedding or a smaller wedding!  Erika is responsible, organized, detailed, and experienced.  My husband and I were married at the Dallas Arboretum with 200 friends and family memebers.  While the Arboretum is a beautiful place for an outdoor wedding and reception, their restrictions and staff are very difficult.  Two weeks before our wedding , we decided there was no way we could do the event without a coordinator.  We contacted Erika, who graciously fit us in at her busiest time of the year.  Every bride should be able to focus on being a part of her wedding on the big day - not the stressful details of pulling the event together.  Erika is a large reason why I was able to enjoy my wedding day.. She is extraordinarily conscientious, very thorough, and hardworking.  Erika never tried to control or change the wedding we had spent so much time planning.. At the same time, she was quick to ask detailed questions about things we had overlooked.  I never had to think once about the details of the setup, the vendors, or the schedule once we arrived at the Arboretum.  And, all was executed just right!  Erika has great judgment and is very calm in the midst of a potentially chaotic situation.. I cannot tell you how important these two qualities are to a bride.  Weeks after the wedding, I learned of several small incidents that could have become large problems.  Instead, Erika quietly handled each matter.  She was also a phenomenal help to the mother of the bride.  My mother was originally concerned that we had given Erika too much information too late. However, erika proved us all wrongn.  She kept up with every detail of the wedding and relieved a lot of stress from the wedding party.  It's been several months since our wedding, and to this day I still get comments about our wedding.  Most have said that our wedding is ONE OF THE NICEST THEY HAVE ATTENDED.  One friend even said that her daughter want to have a wedding just like ours.  While these have been very nice compliments for my family, they are also high recommendations of Designs By Erika Marie.  For without Erika, our wedding would not have been nearly the success it was.  Thanks, Erika --

Making a wedding day memorable is my personal oath to each one of my clients. I offer a free and detailed consultation to discuss all of the ideas that you want for your special day. I listen to each one of my clients and make sure that all the plans and special requests that are wanted at the ceremony and reception are granted. We will discuss your style and color scheme. I will personally make sure that you are completely happy with the initial consultation before we conclude. I will make sure that we take into consideration your wedding budget and plan the flower budget accordingly.  


Something that I advise my brides to do before I meet with them is to look at bridal magazines and websites and gather photos and ideas that you would like to incorporate into your ceremony and reception. Please bring a sample of your bridesmaid dress so that I may have a sample of your accent color. Some examples of favorite wedding flowers are: calla lily, mini calla lily, stargazer lily, casablanca lily, gardenia, hydrangea, lilac, lily of the valley, bells of Ireland, orchid, roses, garden rose, stephanotis, tulip, carnations, dahlia, and many more.

I offer full service, partial service, month-before, week-before, and day of coordination. I can provide you beautiful custom floral arrangements while also providing you with wedding consultation. Another service that I provide to my brides that chose one or both my services are the invitations, save the date, and favors. I have a wide variety of invitation professionals that I work with such as Carlton Craft, Tatex, American Wedding, and many other choices.
